Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure accurate inventory management through systematic stock tracking
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Document all material movements and maintain organized storage systems
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
