Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated areas to optimize warehouse space and ensure safety compliance.
- Verify inventory counts against shipping manifests and maintain accurate logs of materials handled.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (valid and up-to-date).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
