Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are properly organized.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (Class 1, 3, or 4) or equivalent certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
