Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks) in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Load, unload, and move materials, products, and merchandise from receiving areas to storage or shipping locations.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including keeping aisles and storage areas clear.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure proper labeling of stock during transfers.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Reach Truck, Forklift, or Class 1/3) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive motions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
