Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, stock, and retrieve materials using RF scanners and inventory management software with high accuracy.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring products are handled with care and organized correctly.
- Overtime Availability: Be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime, to meet operational demands.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, including proper labeling and storage of goods.
- Documentation: Complete necessary shipping and receiving logs and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus).
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate tight spaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Availability: Must be willing to work overtime as required by business needs.
