Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting stock, organizing warehouse aisles, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets and packages for shipment, ensuring they are labeled correctly and securely.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver's License required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic English language skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
