Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock checks, and ensuring accurate stock placement in the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label goods for shipment or storage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL or forklift license required).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical labor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory handling and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
