Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Accurately load and unload inbound and outbound trailers safely.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure operational safety and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to scan and track inventory.
- Perform routine physical inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification and minimum 1 year of recent forklift operating experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven track record of safety, reliability, and punctuality in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer/data entry skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
- Reliable transportation to the facility in Ohio.
