Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report maintenance issues promptly
- Assist in training new operators on equipment safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Clean pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid California driver's license preferred
