Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery trucks.
- Perform daily safety inspections of the forklift and the work area to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Stack and organize merchandise on pallets, shelves, and racks to maintain optimal storage space.
- Verify inventory counts against shipping manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
