Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, locating, and storing products within the warehouse. You will play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe workspace for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and damage-free.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse area organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred) is required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
