Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform daily cycle counts, check goods for damage, and maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and stage orders for shipment, ensuring pallets are properly wrapped and labeled.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid forklift operator certification (CDL is a plus but not required).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and safety checks.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours (Monday - Friday) and willing to work overtime when required.
