Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic stock counting and organization.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes and meet production deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of orders and verify product quality before shipment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CFP) or valid forklift license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety instructions precisely.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for inventory logging.
