Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage materials according to safety protocols and production schedules.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure workplace.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is highly preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Virginia Beach facility.
