Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as directed by supervisors.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures strictly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating heavy warehouse machinery.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts.
