Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transport.
- Maintain inventory records by tagging and organizing stock, and conducting regular cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately to management.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory data.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) is a plus.
