Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all company safety protocols and participate in regular safety training sessions.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CP, RF, or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
