Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to supervisor immediately
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
