Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, locate, stack, and retrieve materials efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels accurately.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure production targets and safety goals are met.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
