As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that inventory moves smoothly and accurately. We are looking for dedicated individuals who want to build a long-term career with us.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Raymond, Hyster) safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stack materials onto pallets, skids, or shelves according to safety guidelines.
- Perform regular safety inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and using RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and shipping documentation.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts.
