Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for safety defects and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse stock according to safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and time sheets.
