Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (Reach, Counterbalance, etc.) to move inventory.
- Load and Unload: Prepare pallets and boxes for shipping and ensure they are securely loaded onto trailers.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts using scanners and logs.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Current forklift certification (reach truck, forklift) is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in counting and organizing inventory.
- Communication Skills: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: A strong work history with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
