Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading dock areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Organize and stack inventory accurately to maximize space efficiency and prevent damage to products.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free workspace, including debris removal and sweeping.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of daily orders and efficient workflow.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock management using warehouse management systems.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFL) license is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods while operating machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
