Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Load and Unload Freight: Properly load, unload, and stage inbound and outbound shipments according to safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using our WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Material Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, ensuring products are stored correctly and easily accessible.
- Overtime Execution: Willingness to work flexible hours, including mandatory overtime during peak seasons to meet business demands.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification and license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods during the night shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory handling and paperwork completion.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
