Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by conducting cycle counts and updating inventory records in our warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Palletizing and Stacking: Stack products neatly and securely on pallets to prevent damage and optimize storage space.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before and after handling to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience is required. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and operating machinery.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations for inventory and shipping purposes.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and maintain a consistent work history.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
