Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Freight: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and prepare them for storage or delivery with accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Participate in cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of machinery to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any defects.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- No Experience Necessary: We are looking for candidates willing to learn; training is provided on-site.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to verify product accuracy and follow standard operating procedures carefully.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting, scanning, and inventory verification.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for full-time shifts.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
