Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated storage areas with precision.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Verify inventory counts and accurately document material movements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding lifting and material handling.
Qualifications
- No Prior Experience Required: We are looking for candidates willing to learn and train for the forklift operator position.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read labels and documentation accurately.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
