Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Inspect equipment for damage or malfunctions and report any issues immediately to management.
- Sort, tag, and place inventory items in designated storage areas to ensure accurate stock counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of shipments for distribution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Basic computer literacy and math skills for inventory tracking.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
