Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers according to safety regulations.
- Organize, stack, and secure inventory to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counting as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (CDL not required, but certification is mandatory).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50-75 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
