Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (including sit-down, stand-up, and cherry pickers) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and verifying stock against shipping manifests.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Organize the warehouse floor to ensure clear pathways and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (must be present upon hiring).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and palletizing.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
