Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move stock.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately fulfill customer orders by selecting items and preparing them for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using WMS systems.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Efficiently manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring secure handling of goods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the storage area tidy, organized, and labeled to facilitate quick retrieval.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus; however, we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Equipment: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a major plus.
- Attitude: Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
