Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick items from warehouse shelves and pack them into boxes for shipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Order Fulfillment: Use handheld RF scanners to scan barcodes and verify product information against pick tickets.
- Inventory Maintenance: Keep your assigned work area organized and clean to prevent accidents and ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before packing and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Load Preparation: Assist in loading outbound trucks, ensuring packages are secured and labeled correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for 8-10 hour shifts.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read pick lists and verify item numbers without error.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stocking role is preferred but not required.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld devices or computers for data entry.
