Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from storage areas based on customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Inspect items for quality assurance and ensure they are free of damage.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy by double-checking items against packing slips.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping or loading.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) as required and per safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable internet connection (if working remotely).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
