Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation preparation and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates to reduce transportation costs
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve delivery delays in real-time
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate warehouse receiving/distribution activities
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide accurate shipping quotes and timelines
- Implement and maintain compliance with shipping regulations and safety protocols
- Generate weekly shipping reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Experience with LTL/FTL shipping and ocean/air freight operations
