Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely handle packages, pallets, and inventory using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Inventory management: Conduct cycle counts and ensure accurate stock placement in the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders: Efficiently prepare customer orders for shipping while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain safety standards: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company housekeeping policies.
- Operate warehouse equipment: Certify and operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other machinery as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma: Required for this position.
- Physical capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long durations.
- Reliable transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Basic math skills: Comfortable reading labels, invoices, and performing basic calculations.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with shift supervisors and coworkers.
