Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and shipping processes, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to maintain high productivity and safety standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, scheduling repairs as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase throughput.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Skills: Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (Forklift Certification required).
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Technical: Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and computer inventory software.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
