Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Manage and train a team of 15+ warehouse associates, ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Optimize inventory control systems to minimize losses and maximize accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation and procurement teams
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve operational challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
