Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments onto and off of trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipping using packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are up to date.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to 5S principles.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, such as packing slips and delivery logs, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic with the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling inventory and shipping orders.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting and measuring.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work 8+ hours per day, 5 days a week.
