Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials for incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and inspect incoming shipments for damages, discrepancies, and correct quantities.
- Organize warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock placement and efficient retrieval.
- Package and label merchandise securely for transport, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred; however, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Certification for forklift operation (CDL Class A or B is a plus but not required).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
