Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify products against customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock within the warehouse.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by organizing inventory and ensuring aisles are clear.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Documentation: Ability to read, write, and understand basic English for safety instructions and documentation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to ensure inventory counts match system records.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
