Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package and label items for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring safe walking paths and storage areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills and ability to read labels and barcodes.
- License: Valid Driver’s License required; Forklift certification is a plus.
- Attitude: Must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
