Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and documentation.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and organizing inventory.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods for damage and verify orders against packing lists.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety protocols and complete paperwork.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow supervisor instructions.
