Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently locate items in the warehouse and prepare them for shipment using RF scanners.
- Inventory Control: Assist in cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock records to prevent shrinkage.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment (training provided).
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a secure workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
