Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to move inventory efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming merchandise onto the warehouse floor.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in annual physical inventory audits to maintain data accuracy.
- Ensure the warehouse workspace remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards (OSHA).
- Label, tag, and mark stock items according to established labeling systems.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and efficiency goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and prevent inventory errors.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs arise.
- Valid driver's license (if required for specific driving duties).
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required for immediate consideration).
