Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect merchandise for damage, defects, or discrepancies before and after processing.
- Package and label items according to shipping guidelines to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies using warehouse management systems.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software or scanners is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions if working in outdoor dock areas.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
