Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock accuracy.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts) to move pallets and heavy materials within the warehouse.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to resolve workflow issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not required for entry-level applicants (training provided).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
