Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor as required.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and secure.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure data integrity.
- Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify quantities against packing lists before processing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure workstations are organized.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team leads and fellow associates to meet daily production targets and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with no experience.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class D) required for some driving duties.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control in order fulfillment.
