Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks and containers.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records using our inventory management system.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in compliance with safety protocols.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to 5S principles and safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies and report findings immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanners or handheld devices.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (for local delivery roles).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
