Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move merchandise between dock and storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Package and label items for shipment, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Assist in the maintenance of warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory accuracy.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery (Forklift certification preferred but training available).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
