Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure stock levels are maintained within safety guidelines.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks efficiently using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software is helpful.
- License: Valid driver's license (not always required but beneficial).
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
